Co-authored with Fredrik Lundström at KTH in 2023, this thesis examined pricing and deployment trade-offs across public and private cloud environments, including AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud.
The work combined a review of cloud-pricing models with a ticketing-application case study. The emphasis was practical: how service selection and deployment requirements affect the effort and cost of delivering an application.
The findings describe the services, prices and deployment conditions studied in 2023; they should not be presented as current purchasing advice.
